Newborn found abandoned in Causeway Bay mall
Police are investigating after a newborn baby boy was found abandoned in a restroom at Lee Theatre Plaza in Causeway Bay.
Authorities said they received a report at 2.13pm that a cleaner at the mall, had discovered the infant, who appeared to have been left there deliberately.
Paramedics arriving at the scene found the baby unconscious and rushed him to Ruttonjee Hospital for emergency treatment.
His condition is currently unknown. The incident remains under investigation.
