Magnitude 5.8 earthquake strikes near east coast of Honshu

A magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck near the east coast of Honshu, Japan, on Sunday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said. The quake was at a depth of 78 km (48.47 miles), GFZ said.
