Canada Government Fly Flags at Half-Mast to Mourn School Shooting Victims

Canadian Parliament and all federal government buildings across the country will fly flags at half-mast for seven consecutive days to mourn the victims of the school shooting.

The incident occurred in Tabler Ridge, a remote town in British Columbia on Tuesday.

According to the latest police report, nine people, including the gunman, died, and 27 were injured.

The gunman was an 18-year-old student who had dropped out of school.

Her firearms license had expired, and she is believed to have committed suicide.

Among the victims, one was a teacher, and five were students aged 12 to 13.

Police also found two more bodies in a residential unit; which is owned by the gunman's mother and stepbrother.

Police said the gunman was born male but began transitioning to female about six years ago and has been identified as female.

She had mental health issues, and police are investigating her motive.
