Pakistan forces kill 4 militants in Balochistan

Pakistani security forces killed four militants and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during an intelligence-based operation in the country's southwest Balochistan province.



An army officer was killed in a separate operation in the province, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military's media wing, said in a statement. T

he first operation was conducted on Oct. 18 in Jattakabad area of Kalat district, where security forces engaged militants' positions and killed four of them after an intense exchange of fire.



In a separate incident, security forces carried out a series of clearance operations in Shadi Kaur area of Pasni tehsil in Gwadar district, where an improvised explosive device targeted a leading force component.
