Saudi Arabia welcomes request from Yemen's president

​Saudi Arabia's foreign ministry early on Saturday ⁠welcomed a ‌request ⁠from Yemen's Saudi-backed presidential ‍council for a forum ⁠in Riyadh to resolve Yemen's southern issue. In ‌a statement, the Saudi ⁠foreign ministry called on southern factions to ⁠participate in the forum to "formulate a comprehensive ‍vision for fair solutions ‌to ​the southern ‌cause".
