North Korea says nuclear capability will be updated

North Korea said on Monday its nuclear weapons capability will be updated steadily "without a momentary stagnation," rejecting a call by ASEAN foreign ministers this month for the complete removal of nuclear arms as another expression of hostility against a responsible nuclear state.



North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's influential sister, Kim Yo Jong, who often speaks for her brother and the state on international affairs, made the statement carried by KCNA state news agency.
