Investigation continues into Miami's Amazon plane crash

Investigators of Sunday's deadly Amazon Prime Air cargo plane crash, which killed five and injured five others, have provided a few more details in the reset press briefing.



Flight 7598 Amazon Air, a Boeing 767-33 alpha, had two members on board and was arriving from Puerto Rico in its third flight of the day.



It overrun the runway, striking navigational aids and equipment, before hitting a white Ford van owned by a contract cleaning company - with seven people onboard - and then a Toyota Corolla outside the airport, travelling on 67th Avenue.



The plane ended up about 394m past the runway.



But there are still many unanswered questions.



Investigators are looking at the history of the flight, crew experiences and training, the components of the aircraft, the forecast upon landing, as well as the relationship between Amazon and 21 Air - the company contracted to transport cargo.



NTSB chair Jennifer Homendy said her team were "deeply committed" to determining "how this accident occurred, why it happened" in order to prevent it happening again.
