Man arrested for shoplifting in To Kwa Wan supermarket

A theft occurred in a supermarket in To Kwa Wan. A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of "shoplifting".



The Kowloon City Police District Task Force was conducting an anti-crime patrol in To Kwa Wan at about 5 pm yesterday. Outside a supermarket on Ma Tau Kok Road, a man with suspicious behavior was found and stopped for questioning. After investigation, the officers found that he was suspected of stealing 11 items of food and drinks worth about HK$140 in the supermarket.



It is reported that the arrested person is former artist Ruan Min'an. He is currently being detained for investigation.
