Israel's military said it intercepted a missile launched by Houthi forces from Yemen towards southern Israel on Wednesday night.
The missiles triggered air raid sirens in the Dead Sea region and the Negev Desert. No injuries were reported.
"One missile that was launched from Yemen was intercepted," the military said.
Israel has launched multiple airstrikes on strategic targets in Yemen in recent months, as Houthi forces continue to fire missiles and drones toward Israel, citing solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. Most of the projectiles have been intercepted or fallen short of Israeli territory.
