4 terrorists killed in military operation in SW Pakistan

Four terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, the military has said.



The operation was conducted in Mastung district on the reported presence of terrorists, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani military, said in a statement on Friday.



During the operation, security forces engaged the terrorists' hideout, and following an exchange of fire, four terrorists were killed, the statement said.



Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who had been involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area, according to the ISPR.



A sanitization operation was underway to clear the locality of any remaining terrorists.
