Ado and Japan’s beloved anime come together in a dream collaboration!
It has been announced that Ado will perform a new version of the opening theme song “Odoru Ponpokorin” (original Japanese title: おどるポンポコリン) for the long-running CHIBI MARUKO-CHAN anime series, originally performed by B.B. Queens.
The new version will debut on December 28th in the new anime opening featuring Ado as an animated character, with the song release following the next day on December 29th at 0am JST (Global Timed Release).
Ado herself has been a huge fan of CHIBI MARUKO-CHAN since childhood. She sang this cover with respect for the original version by B.B. Queens, aiming to evoke nostalgic feelings for some while also incorporating her own interpretation.
