The wait is almost over! Japan’s chart-dominating powerhouse band Mrs. GREEN APPLE (MGA) are gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated 6th full-length studio album, “POPS”.
Marking the defining release of MGA’s Phase 3, “POPS” captures both the remarkable breadth of the band today and their vision for where they will go next. At its core is a reimagining of what ‘mainstream’ can mean in an era when audiences are more varied, discovery is more fragmented and music can travel across cultures and communities faster than ever.
“Kyohan” marks a return to a more band-driven sound and is very much a song made for the live stage, expressing a desire to build a deeper sense of ‘complicity’ with everyone who was born into this world.
