A birthday surprise from Ado! 🎂 October 24th, as she celebrates her 24th birthday, Ado will surprise-release her new single “Patient A” (original Japanese title: 患者A), written especially for her by singer-songwriter Yoeko.
Yoeko is an artist Ado has long admired, and “Patient A”, written and composed entirely by Yoeko, brings the two artists together in a striking creative chemistry. The lyrics portray the world as a theater and the protagonist as someone playing a role within it – smiling politely on the outside while inwardly sticking her tongue out in defiance. With sharp, ironic lyrics expressing frustration with the role she has been given and rebellion against those around her, the song delivers an intense and deeply resonant impact.
