Multi-platinum UK singer-songwriter Calum Scott unites with English rap sensation Aitch for a reimagined version of “Unsteady,” a romantic ode to accepting imperfection originally found on Calum’s 2025 album Avenoir.
The “Unsteady” team-up infuses the slowly blooming track with extra punch while doubling down on the hopeful message. “I’m a little unsteady, a little messed up, a little bit petty,” Calum admits before he delivers the twist: “But... I’ve found a place to go, and I’m standing all alone with you / ’Cause you’re unsteady, too.”
Aitch picks up the theme, delivering a heartfelt dedication: “Even better than expected from the second we connected / Yeah, I might be a little crazy, but you’re the only one that gets it.” The video, directed by Ben Morgan, fittingly films the two artists in a way that exposes the studio’s seams and edges, interspersed with shots of couples from all walks of life sharing cozy, loving moments.
