The licensee of a restaurant in Sham Shui Po illegally expanded its business area, repeatedly violating the Food Business Regulation. The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) has suspended its license for 14 days.
The restaurant in question, "Ho Xuan Restaurant," is located on the ground floor of Carrie Court, Tonkin Street. The FEHD stated that the licensee was convicted twice in court in May and June of this year for illegally expanding its business area, resulting in a total fine of $7,000. The department also deducted 30 points from the licensee under the Demerit Points System, and the restaurant was suspended for 14 days.
