Already going viral on social media ahead of release, self-produced global artist Ayumu Imazu’s highly anticipated new single “musubi” (original Japanese title: 結び) officially drops.
“musubi” is a love song about the bonds that connect people and the relationships we choose to reconnect time and again, even after drifting apart or missing each other along the way. Using the ‘red thread of fate’ as its central motif, the lyrics capture the subtle ups and downs of romance in a way that feels both universal and deeply relatable 🧶
Blending a subtly nostalgic sound with Ayumu Imazu’s distinctive artistry and modern sensibility, the track strikes a perfect balance between familiarity and musical individuality.
With its chill, easy-listening sound and social-friendly appeal, “musubi” is made for everything from dance challenges to everyday lifestyle clips and couple content. On DSPs, it’s also a great fit for chill, romance, couple, and wedding playlists – with all the potential to become a new wedding staple 💍
