A assault case occurred in Kowloon Tong: A couple argued, and the wife was arrested for slashing her husband's neck with a piece of glass.



At approximately midnight, police received a report from a woman stating that her parents were arguing over marital issues at Lan Fong Court, 1 Yuk Lan Road, Yau Yat Chuen. During the dispute, the mother slashed her father's neck with a broken glass bottle. The father fell into a semi-comatose state and was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital by ambulance for emergency treatment.



Police officers arrived at the scene and, after preliminary investigation, arrested the complainant's mother on suspicion of assault. She was taken to the police station for detention and investigation. Evidence was collected from the premises involved, and they are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident and the motive behind the crime. The case has been assigned to the Criminal Investigation Team of the Sham Shui Po Police District for follow-up.
