Three people were injured in

a Ukrainian missile attack in the town of Rylsk in Russia's

Kursk region on Sunday, state news agency TASS reported, citing

regional governor Alexander Khinshtein.

The missile strike hit a hotel building, Khinshtein said,

adding that two people with shrapnel wounds were taken to

hospital.

"Two men have serious shrapnel wounds to the head and arms,

as well as fractures - they are in serious condition. Another

woman received shrapnel wounds to her forearm and thigh - her

life is not threatened," TASS quoted Khinshtein as saying.

Rescuers and ambulance doctors continue to work at the site

of the missile attack, Khinshtein said.
