Truck ushed down a slope and hit a lamp post in North Point

A traffic accident occurred in North Point at night, and some people were injured. A truck was suspected to be out of control, rushed down a slope and hit a lamp post. The driver was arrested for dangerous driving.
At around 9 pm, opposite the Royal Theatre on King's Road in North Point, the 47-year-old male driver involved parked the truck on the slope of Cheung Hong Street and got off the truck to unload the goods. During this period, the truck was suspected to be out of control and slid forward until it hit the lamp post.
The foot of the 77-year-old male passenger in the car was caught and trapped for a while. He was rescued by firefighters. Together with the truck driver with injured hands, he was sent to Eastern Hospital for treatment.
After preliminary investigation by the police, the driver was arrested for suspected dangerous driving and is currently being detained for investigation. The case was classified as dangerous driving and traffic accident with injuries, as well as damage to government property.
