Chinese automaker Dongfeng launches 9 new models in Egypt

Chinese automaker Dongfeng has launched nine new models to the Egyptian market on Wednesday.

The launch ceremony, held at the International Exhibition Center in Cairo, unveiled a diverse lineup that includes MAGE ICE, a compact SUV; SHINE ICE, a sedan; and a range of electric and hybrid vehicles: DONGFENG BOX, DONGFENG 007, MAGE EV, VOYAH FREE, VOYAH DREAM, VOYAH PASSION, and MHERO 917.

Liao Qingli, the company's general manager for African market, said the new cars for the Egyptian market represent Dongfeng's advanced engineering techniques and innovation, as well as its desire to meet the growing needs of Egyptian consumers.

Liao said the company will set up an African regional office and an auto parts warehouse in Egypt.

Dongfeng has over 50 years of experience in automobile manufacturing with its overseas business covering more than 100 countries and regions in Asia, Africa, South America and Europe, according to the company.
