Customs seizes suspected counterfeit goods worth approximately HK$1.6 million

Customs seized suspected counterfeit goods worth approximately HK$1.6 million at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) Hong Kong Port and arrested one person.



On August 21, Customs intercepted an incoming truck at the HZMB and found 14,000 suspected counterfeit goods, including accessories, headphones, and watches, in the cargo bed. Preliminary investigations indicate the goods were intended for re-export overseas. The case is under investigation, and the arrested 52-year-old male driver has been released on bail.
